Movie to Cartoon Transitions
What's your favorite movie to cartoon translation, and what movie(s) do you think could make good cartoon series?
Men in Black was a fairly good cartoon. I can't really think of any others, besides Disney ones. If I recall correctly, Robocop was cool, too. I think the post-apocalypse setting of Terminator could have made for a decent action cartoon series. My mind's blanking out on me again for more examples. =/ |
lesee.. out of the ones I've watched, Clerks, The Mask, come to mind, and they were pretty entertaining.. MIB is a good one ;)
Some disney movie to cartoons were quite good, lesse.. Alladdin, Little Mermaid, for example, but Hercules stunk, and I don't think they ever made a Lion King cartoon, which prolly would be neat *loves cuddly lions :D* |
The did make a Timon and Pumba cartoon.
Hm, I always liked the Star Trek cartoon, but I haven't seen it since the 1970s. I also enjoyed the Ewoks cartoon, which had a very interesting soundtrack. |
I will always be terrorized by memories of the Men in Black cartoon.

the Batman cartoons were pretty good, they had the same feel to it as the movies did, i mean the semi-older one, not the newer "beyond" stuff, i havent seen any of that.
|
Erm..I consider that one a comic book translation, too.
I forgot, the CG Starship Troopers cartoon was pretty sweet, too. May have actually had the best graphics of any CG series yet. |

Only one that came to my mind was Clerks. I never saw it though. Was it any good aeris?
|
I liked that Batman cartoon, but like you say, it is from the comics. I use to watch Alladin a lot, and they were often even better than the second and third (direct-to-video) movies. Weird, if nothing else, which is always good in my book.
