Halloween Costumes!
I am going to visit my friend in Las Vegas in a couple weeks, because he is having a halloween party. Problem is, you have to dress up, and I am not sure what to be. I was trying to think of some totally random costumes that would make people laugh, but am getting no where. Give me some costume ideas!

hrm, well lets see, itd be rather intersting to see you dressed up as a spice girl *snickers* although to some that may be frightening.
|
I should flame you for that ;) just kidding. Okay one thing I will not dress up as, something where I have to be a woman. Negative on that one!
|
Go as "The Mysterious Pumpkin Dude" from Ogre Battle! :)

Richter Belmont
Ukyo Tachibana (Samurai Shodown) or any samurai-style outfit Link You can use a number of anime and video game characters for ideas. |
Everyone seems to love Sponge Bob square pants, I have never seen the show, so I don't know what is so funny, but you could take a cardboard box, and buy a bunch of yellow sponges and attach them to the box, then make some pants out of cloth, and make the rest of the phase out of various styrefoam (how do u spell that?) products. Or you could be a transformer hehe. Or you could dress up like John Goodman in that one seen in the big lebowski and walkl around talking to everyone saying, "After the uh what have you."

Kool-Aid Man, of course! What could be cooler than being Kool-Aid Man for halloween?
*refers to Zephyrin's avatar* hmm... Now that I think about it, how could you pull that one off? Nevermind that idea, I'm stumped. |
some Rockman boss :p

I'm gonna be going as some as-yet-unnamed purple-haired bishu . . . just gotta figure out what my clothes are gonna be. . . you could always do that . . . you're HAWT enough :naughty:

I went as Calivn from Calvin and Hobbes one year. It was a really easy and cheap costume too. Just buy a red and black striped shirt (or if you can't find one, pick up a red shirt and some black electrical tape), a pair of really long shorts or really short black pants, and a stuffed tiger and you're good to go. Also, it might help if you spiked your hair like Calvin.
Iz zat off the wall enough for you? :D |

Costumes based on existing parts like Calvin and samurai costumes are generally easily to acquire. |
what about green tights and a green leotard and than strap a hot dog to your waist and say your peter pan :-D
(although the thought of naka in tights and a leotard excite me...) 0:-) |

Nall from Lunar 2: EBC might be fun to dress up as. Dragonboys are fun.
Maybe you could make yourself look like the Indigestable that was on Ripping Friends last night. You'll make people laugh in fear as you threated to dehydrate them beyond recognition. |

http://www.moko-moko.net/~ukyo_tachibana/pics1.html The outfit can be obtained semi-easily as it appears to be a martial arts uniform for Aikido and several other arts. Unfortuantely, you need to supply yourself a wig and a prop sword |
I would have to say that the costume should mainly be something that you really want to be.. since anime/game characters are many. In the simplest you can always get a colored wig the color of a character you like and dress normal and say that you are the character dressed casually :)
Edit: forgot to add that personally I really like wizards and so a friend bought me a basic wizard outfit from the store so just plan to alter a little to make cooler. |
I have an easy costume that I am also going as this year. All you need is some glowsticks, a little bit of facepaint and mix matched clothes. Have you guessed it? It's a raver! Put dark circles under your eyes with the black faice paint, crack some glowsticks, and mixmatch some bright clothes. Glow in the dark, neon, and things that flash are highly recommended! Real easy. Would also help if you knew how to rave.

Hmm... well, last holloween, a girl at my brother's collage went as a pimp, and my brother and a couple friends went as her Hos...
Also, I once went as a crayon. :) |
I know what I'd like to dress up as this year. You could do it too, Naka, if you've got the facial hair necessary. Those false mustaches and beards just don't cut it, in my opinion.
I'm thinking about dressing as Satan. Get yourself some red face paint, prosthetic horns, tail and a really snazzy pinstriped suit. (Well, any formal suit will do, but pinstripes add true pinache.) Slick your hair back, walk with a funkadelic groove and smile a lot. Throw in my preexisting mustache and goatee and I'd make a pretty good Satan. I guess this costume might offend some, but those are the people who tend to clamor against the spiritual "evils" of Halloween anyhow. The entire holiday is lost upon them. If you can gather the proper items, it makes a damn good costume. The trident is optional, but the tail really sells it home. |
