If you're looking for pumped up rock tracks like Stab the Sword of Justice or Hopeless Resolution, you won't find it here. Half this album are softer pieces, while the other half are progressive rock pieces, but the rock pieces do not start off loud like the above tracks. There is what sounds like a boss track arrangement (it'll remind you a little of Imperfect Body and Imperfect Soul)
This album uses a similar instrument set to Star Ocean 2 Arranged and Star ocean Blue Sphere Arranged.
It's a decent arrangement, but it's different. There are 3 versions of So Alone, Be Sorrow (progressive rock, new age with simple vocal background, piano).

Hey, sounds nice. I had hoped for some nice progressive beats like in SO 2 arrange, but I'm always open to something new.
Now, if only I could get my hands on it somehow!

I'm liking this album. The lack of 'adrenaline music' is a bit depressing, but what is there is pretty good. I haven't finished listening, but so far, it's a solid arrange album. There isn't a *really* good stand out track that everyone will love, but it's definitely not a bust. Recommended, but if you're lacking some of Motoi's other albums, definitely go for those first.

Actually, this is somewhat disappointing, since there is usually 1 track on the album that is energetic.

I actually found the arranges to be quite nice, though there just COULD not be that much difference to the original compositions safe for more lengthy tracks.
What I find MOST disappointing however is, that this is his first album where there is NO upbeat and totally progressive battle arrangement, and I'm holding a personal grudge for this.
Seems that "Stab the Sword of Justice" will remain the best battle arrangement yet...

I think I mostly agree with Rince here. The softer arrangements like 'Till the End of Time' are definitely the high point of this album. The lack of adrenaline tracks is definitely disappointing, but I don't think it's enough to sink this entire album.
But, I beg to differ on your last point. "Festival of Evil (Part 1)" from Shining the Holy Ark was SO much better than Stab the Sword of Justice. =p

There was too much dissonance in there for my taste, it's a close second! ;)

Stab the Sword of Justice isn't so much of an arrangement; it is almost completely true to its original form... If you you don't count the higher synth quality, there's only minimal difference.
But still, a lowely song
