Favorite Ys soundtrack?

What is your favorite Ys episode soundtrack ? :)

YS IV definitely! 1+2 makes a close second, with III being decent in some places. I found V a little off-limits since I only know about it being on SNES and the sound sucked compared to the orchestrated Red Book Audios.

Yep, it's also my favorite and i love the JDK Special version of this soundtrack ! Synthetic at its best !!! :D

I have only heard the third and fifth. But, out of those I love the Orchestra Version I just got of Ys V the most... :)

I will have to say Ys 4. I love the Ys 4 PCs and I also love JDK Band 4 which is Ys 4 vs Xanadu. Some of my favorite albums!

Ys III - Wanderers from Ys. For SNES.
If played the game, and i realy like the music.
That's the only Ys i've played. But that's going to change because the remakes are coming for PS :D

YS (I), is my favourite, but I haven't heard to much of Ys IV, which so many of you likes. BTW: do any of you know who composed the soundtracks? :confused:

The composer is only listed as Sound Team JDK. The arranger for the TurboDuo games was Ryo Yominetsu.

Ys I, Ys II and part of Ys IV songs were composed by Yuzo Koshiro.
The Arrange was made by Ryo Yonemitsu... JDK only play the songs in certain versions.

I never played any Ys game, but the Name Yuzo Koshiro is familiar to me. Was he composing for Konami or Sega?
