Which of the many sonic CDs are or contains arranged tracks from the OSTs ?

I think there are arrange CDs for both of the Dreamcast games.
But for the old Sonic series, i think there's only a (crappy it seems) remix CD as well as one with "live instruments" arrangements based on Virtual Sonic (from the great and ultra-rare "SEGA Tunes" box, US release).

For Sonic Adventure I and II, the arranged albums are vocal albums. Basically, they are the character songs.

Oh, it's not the same themes then ?

I've downloaded a "sonic redbook audio" and it looked like a dutch happy hardcore remix... It was .... crap. :(

And a sonic adventure remix ... strange too....

Too bad... i wish thre was arrangements from the first sonic series on megadrive .

Try getting Sonic CD Japanese Red Book. Thue tunes mostly rock. It's a kind of happy style Techno, my favorite is the Underwater Tune there.

Look for an Album that's called SONIC BOOM (It's a US one!), it was produced by Spencer Nielsen (SEGA's favorite DJ it seems) and he remixed some quite cool tunes there.

If you've heard the vocals from the games, that is what got put on the vocal albums. It's the same.

Gotten the sonic boom cd... not bad but I was expecting better :) .
I really don't like the Red Book one... but guess I must stick to this since nothing better seems to exist ^^ .

Along the same lines, I'm trying to find the music from the original sonic games, not remixes or arrangements. Where should I look, other than Kazaa?

I think there were recordings of all the Genesis episodes somewhere, perhaps on GF.

Or you can get them under the original Genesis music file formats at Zophar domain I think :) .
