Has anyone here heard the amazing music for this game? A complete rip of it can now be found at media-zero or on some FTPs now.

I've finally gotten most of the Atreides and Harkonnen songs since I used to have the incomplete OST, but now that I'm getting the game rip the music keeps getting better and better. It's the perfect combination of orchestral, techno, and rock.

I certainly recommend checking this OST out if you're a fan of any VGM. It's just that good.

Some great songs to check out would be these:

Atreides: Ride the Worm, The Fremen Alliance, The War Begins, Infiltrating HK

Harkonnen: The Machine, Surrounded, Tribute to Evil, Harkonnen Force, Defenders of Arrakis

Ordoss: Not an Option, Sabotage, The Specimen

Ooh yes... that reminds me, now I have some spare time on my hands I can run Emperor through a GAP scan. Frank Klepacki's (C&C, RA, RA2) Atreides score is simply something else...

Do you know who composed the songs for E:BfD, Pez? I only know that David Arkenstone supposedly composed the Harkonnen tracks, but have no idea who did the Atreides and Ordos tracks.

Jarrid Mendelson did the Ordos tracks and, as Pez said, Frank Klepacki did the Atreides tracks.

Yup, just checking the credits section: Klepacki did the cinematics and Atreides music, Arkenstone the Harkonnen CD and Jarrid Mendelson the Ordos.

EbfD doesn't seem to be the usual Westwood MIX/AUD/VQA combo... still searching on how the audio was extracted.

Edit: Nevermind... just stumbled on MultiEx by way of chance.

Yeah, the music for this game is great. Dune2000 also had good music, as well as Dune 2. And Dune 2 is really a antique now, but has excellent music in it. Note to self, must get around to beating emperor.

I always did love Klepacki's work.

I bought the Collector's Edition of Red Alert 2 just for the soundtrack CD. It was well worth it.

His music was some of the first that taught me the wonder of VGM. It was also the first VGM soundtrack I owned.

It's a real shame that he isn't composing C&C Generals. However, from the Multiplayer Beta soundtrack I found on some FTP, its sounding quite good, nonetheless.
